Hazard Statements

These are the Hazard statements shown in the UN GHS framework, for the statements that are in the EU regulations we have supplied the official translations.
If you need to add text to show the route of exposure then create a copy of a statement and append a letter to the end of the code like H700i if route of exposure is through inhalation. If you do create your own statements please speak to us so that we can add them to the rules for calculating how hazardous the classification is.

We have linked the prevention statements to these hazard statements using the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 parts 3 and 4.

Field label Field description
H Phrase The internationally recognised Hazard code for the statement plus any appended alpha code for the route of exposure, when required.
Description The multilingual statement for the code.
P Phrases The selected Prevention statements that are linked to this Hazard statement are suggested in the EU regulations. To add a Prevention statement click the button and then select the Prevention statement, if you want to remove a prevention statement the click the button along side the statement.
Personal Protection Select the items that are appropriate for the hazard. These icons will be displayed in section 8.2 (Exposure controls and personal protection) of the MSDS.
